The crucifixion is, in many ways, the culmination of the Bible. Jesus, the Author of Life, hangs condemned for crimes he didn't commit, on a tree he created, for people whom he loves. But the darkest day actually turns out to be for our greatest good. In the midst of the tragedy, we see a tremendous moment of hope as all people gain access to the God whom they lost in the Garden.
