The Purpose and Power of Prayer
Prayer is how we talk with God, listen to Him, and align our hearts with His will (1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 4:8).
Prayer is powerful because of the God who hears. It brings peace in anxious times (Philippians 4:6–7), strengthens us in temptation (Matthew 26:41), and unleashes grace for healing and mission (James 5:16; Acts 4:31).
At Revolve, prayer fuels everything we do—for our families, our community, the nations, and the advance of God’s kingdom through disciple-making. Prayer changes things because it connects us to the One who changes everything.
Come Pray with Us!
- WEEKLY PRAYER: Join us every Sunday morning from 8:30am to 9:25am, and then again from 9:30am to 9:45am as we come together to lift our hearts in prayer before our weekly gathering
- MONDAY PRAYER: We pray every Monday from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the church office.
- WOMEN'S PRAYER: Wednesday mornings at 6:00am we have a women's prayer meeting on ZOOM
- QUARTERLY PRAYER: Four times a year, on fifth Sunday months, we spend the final Sunday of the month with a prayer and worship gathering in place of a normal service
