Passage: John 9:1–41

After pronouncing himself to be the light of the world while standing before the extinguished torches of the Feast of Booths, Jesus evidences that reality by giving sight to a man born blind. The man’s testimony of what Jesus has done is simple, beautiful, and powerful, “I once was blind. Now, I see. Do you want to be his disciple too?” May we have the same simple boldness!
