The Satisfaction of Obedience

Passage: John 4:27–43
Since knowing and enjoying Jesus is the most satisfying thing in the universe, it makes sense that obeying his commands should bring us great joy and satisfaction. Why then does it not feel that way? We need to learn from Jesus’ joyful, satisfying obedience and that of the woman at the well - a woman with a faithful heart to obey and share what she learned about Jesus. We can be satisfied in Jesus and joyfully obey him too!
