John 3:16 is the most well known and often quoted verse in the entire Bible. It is held up at football games, woven into songs, and memorized by many at a young age. What is the essence of its meaning? Sometimes when things are so well known we feel the need to spice them up with flavor. Today we want to look at the basics of what Jesus teaches in John 3:9-21 and worship him in light of his marvelous, costly grace.
