Book of Proverbs- Parenting

October 11, 2020 Speaker: Christian Vance Series: Proverbs

Passage: Proverbs 22:6, Proverbs 20:7, 1 Peter 5:8

As parents, we often use the term that we need to have a "Gospel centered home". What does that mean and look like? A wise parent understands that their biggest responsibility is to raise children who know, love & follow Jesus. Join us as we continue in the Book of Proverbs!

Round table discussion:

  • For parents: Do you delight in your relationship with Jesus? How do your kids view your relationship with the Lord?
  • Disciple makers (not parents)- "You can not attain what you don't possess." In order to disciple others well and point them to Jesus, we too must have an authentic relationship with Jesus. Is your life worthy of imitation when it comes to following Him?
  • Pray together for specific kids that are a part of Revolve, pray for Parents to lead their kids well, and pray for Revolve Student Ministry.
