Understanding the Church as the Body of Christ

July 12, 2020 Speaker: Christian Vance Series: Understanding Church

Passage: 1 Corinthians 12:12–26, John 13:34–35

Just like a human body, the body of Christ is made up of many different parts but all are meant to function together in unity. Limbs, when left alone are useless but when they come together there is movement and purpose. The ultimate purpose of every Christian is to glorify God.

Questions for discussion:

  • What area is God challenging me to use my gifts? How has God been using me to use my gifts?
  • Am I using these gifts within the Body?
  • If you don't know your gifts, ask those close to you.
