As we introduce the book of Philippians, we pause to look at the church's foundation, a ragtag group of people from all walks of life who found themselves discovered by Joy incarnate, the Godman, Jesus Christ. Although they were all very different, they shared the commonality of the Gospel. The gospel is their solid ground, the source of their joy. Let it be ours as well!
