5. Acts 3b-4a - Bold Words
Passage: Acts 3:11–4:22
Speaking out boldly for the things we know to be right, even the things we hold precious, can be extremely challenging. For most of us, we prefer to allow our actions to "speak louder than our words," but sometimes we are tempted to use that an excuse to not speak up at all! In the book of Acts, the early church spoke boldly, even when it resulted in problems. How about us? When are we supposed to speak up? What are we supposed to say when we do? How do we know what's being bold and what's being weird?
